The Shell Shock
--- SYSTEM INITIALIZED ---
[ SUBJECT: TURTLE "T-42" ] • [ STATUS: AWAITING MUTATION ]
Locked in a dark, suffocating bunker, you sit at a cold iron table. The stakes? Your life. Your only tools are a rusty operating table, a pneumatic delivery tube, and a set of experimental syringes filled with unstable animal biomass. Modify the flesh, launch the turtle, and pray that the mechanical monstrosities on the other side grind to a halt.
☣ KNOWN BIOMASS SYRINGES (BLIND MUTAGENS)
Note from the Bunker Log: When injecting a syringe, you only know the core animal DNA type. The exact physiological mutation (Paws, Head, Tail, or Shell) remains hidden until deployment!
- TURTLE DNA (ORGANIC): The baseline stabilizer. Reverts limbs, head, tail, or shell back to their reinforced factory settings to restore balance.
- SPIDER DNA (WIDOW): Grants knockback immunity, reduces attack range in exchange for lethal acid/corrosion damage over time, unleashes slowing web attacks, or sacrifices shell defense for a major evasion boost.
- DINOSAUR DNA (GRANNY): Sacrifices turning speed for movement velocity, drastically amplifies critical hit damage, unlocks devastating AoE tail sweeps that stun lightweight targets, or activates a "Thorns" mechanic to reflect damage back at attackers.
- BULL DNA (MADCOW): Enhances forward charging distance while slowing rotation, inflicts a "Fear" debuff that forces damaged enemies to flee, extracts bonus combat currency, or trades shell defense for an agile evasion upgrade.
⚠️ THE DEALER'S DILEMMA: PREDICTABLE PILLS VS. BLIND SURGERY
Survival in the arena requires strict resource management. While Syringes are a blind gamble on mutating your turtle's physiology, the Procedural Pills offered on the table are completely transparent—you can see exactly which stats they alter before ingestion. Choose wisely.
As the CRT monitor drops from the ceiling, you must actively assist your creation in real-time. Spend your hard-earned credits to drop supply crates onto the arena. Will it be a life-saving medkit, an EMP shockwave to disable rogue machinery, or a Berserk stimulant? One wrong drop, and you are bankrupt in front of the Dealer.
🚨 ENEMY ENCOUNTERS (RECYCLED AUTOMATONS)
The arena is populated by desperate scrap-metal abominations. Most of these modular robots are crudely pieced together from discarded machinery blueprints and the salvaged parts of fallen combatants. Keep a close eye on the CRT monitor for these notable threats:
- THE JUNK-HEAP AMALGAM: Standard modular units assembled on the fly from old tech and scrap metal. Their parts and attack patterns are unpredictable, changing with every encounter.
- THE OCTO-LEG GUNNER: A horrific, multi-limbed mechanical spider. It skitters rapidly across the arena while pinning your turtle down with non-stop suppression fire from its heavy machine gun.
- "W.A.L.L.-E" UNIT: Don't let the nostalgic, rusty compaction-bot look fool you. This repurposed scrap-handler is highly resilient, dangerously aggressive, and ready to crush everything in its path into a neat little cube.
🛠️ PERSONNEL LOG (CREDITS)
This terminal and the biological monstrosities inside it were assembled by a desperate three-man cell during a 72-hour lockdown:
| [ N0TKEY ] | Game Designer | The mastermind who wrote the rules of this sick game. Blame him if you can't win. |
| [ Ninit ] | 3D Artist | Shaped the low-poly flesh, rusted metal, and questionable turtle biology. |
| [ Diabolic86 ] | Programmer | Injected code into the terminal. Responsible for making the automation scream and the code run. |
